Welcome to Naught Too Shabby, a creative small business located in North Ridgeville, Ohio, where personalization, craftsmanship, and creativity come together.

I specialize in personalized home décor, engraved gifts, handcrafted wood signs, and fully customized accessories. Many of the items I create are laser engraved or personalized, transforming everyday pieces into meaningful keepsakes.

While I do build certain items from wood, much of my work focuses on engraving and customizing materials such as wood, acrylic, aluminum, leather, glass, and powder-coated items. If it can be engraved, burned, or personalized, there’s a good chance we can create something truly unique together.

The items featured in my online store represent just a small sample of what I can create. I love working directly with customers to bring their ideas to life and design pieces that reflect their personal style, milestone, or special occasion.

Custom Hat Experiences & Hat Parties

My custom hat experiences are part of my hat brand, Suede & Soot.

Through Suede & Soot, guests can design their own custom trucker hats or wide-brim cowgirl and cowboy hats, choosing from a variety of patches, hat bands, feathers, branded details, and decorative accents to create a hat that reflects their personal style.

But the real magic happens when people gather together to create.

I host interactive hat parties and creative workshops where guests design their hats while enjoying a fun, relaxed atmosphere with friends.

These parties are perfect for:

• Friend group gatherings
• Private parties and special occasions

Guests can host their event at my location in our cozy heated barn in North Ridgeville, creating a warm, welcoming space where creativity, laughter, and great memories are made.

In addition to hat parties, I also offer jewelry-making parties and creative paint events, making it easy to plan a unique and memorable experience for your group.

By day, I work as an accountant for a construction firm, but Naught Too Shabby and Suede & Soot are my creative outlet and passion.

This business allows me to step away from spreadsheets and spend my time designing, engraving, and creating personalized pieces for people celebrating special moments in their lives.
